Iran Press/Iran news: In the funeral ceremony of Martyr Zahedi in Isfahan, the Chief of Staff of Iran's Armed Forces Major General Mohammad Bagheri, congratulated and condoled the martyrdom of a group of resistance front commanders and honored the memory of all the martyrs of the revolution and said: Martyr Zahedi sacrificed his life for the revolution for 43 years.
Stating that the people of Iran created a unique Quds Day, he said: "The US and other arrogant countries should know that the days of Israel are numbered and there is nothing left until the complete destruction of the Zionist regime.
The Israeli regime targeted the Mezzeh neighborhood in Damascus on Monday afternoon April 1, 2024, which caused significant damage to the consulate building and neighboring structures and the martyrdom of 7 Iranian military advisors to the Syrian Army, including General Zahedi.
The bodies of the Iranian commanders martyred in the Israeli attack on the Iranian consulate in Damascus returned to Tehran, Iran, for funeral and burial ceremonies that were held on International Quds Day, Friday.
