Iran Press/ Iran news: Speaking at his weekly press conference in Tehran on Tuesday, the Judiciary spokesman Gholam Hussein Esmaeili emphasized the determination of the Judiciary to clean up all forms of bureaucratic corruption and to prosecute those who have been corrupted, including those who have committed fraud, financial theft, bribery, etc.
Turning to the recent arrest of Rouhollah Zam, an Iranian who had broadcast lies and misinformation over a long period of time about the Islamic Republic of Iran through the internet and Telegram (an instant messaging and voice over IP service), the Judiciary spokesman warned all those who had cooperated with either Rouhollah Zam or foreign intelligence services, and said a fate similar to what had happened to Zam, awaited them.
Esmaeili also praised the Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC) for its well-planned arrest of Rouhollah Zam, an individual who was supported by not just one, but several foreign intelligence agencies.
In the following, Gholam Hussein Esmaeili thanked and appreciated the hospitality of Iraqi authorities and the Iraqi people who hosted millions of Arbaeen pilgrims, saying: "This was a great event and we thank the Iraqi government and people for hosting Iranian pilgrims. We also thank those responsible for ensuring the safety and security of pilgrims."
Turning to the floods at the end of last year and beginning of this year, the Judiciary spokesman wished plenty of rainfall this autumn and winter but warned officials by saying: "We mustn't allow rainfall, a blessing from the Almighty God, to become a problem for ordinary people. As the cold season approaches, I urge all senior managers and officials in relevant organisations to plan for all contingencies, and in particular to be prepared for heavy rainfall and possible floods."
