Tehran (IP) - Al-Mayadin TV channel announced that a cargo ship belonging to an Israeli company was targeted in the North Indian Ocean on Saturday evening.

Iran Press/ Iran news: Al-Mayadin said the Israeli cargo ship was targeted with an unknown weapon.

According to the news network, the ship, identified as the Liberia-flagged CSAV Tyndall, anchored in the Saudi port of Jeddah before leaving for the UAE coast.

Al-Mayadin announced that the cargo ship was still on fire.

No individual or group has yet claimed responsibility for the attack.

This is the second incident in the last few months for Israeli ships. On March 25, a cargo ship belonging to an Israeli company bound for India from Tanzania crashed in the Arabian Sea.
