Iran Press/ Iran news: Earlier this month, the IRGC announced its intelligence organization had arrested the administrator of Amad News, Rouhollah Zam, which was known for disseminating incriminating content against the Islamic establishment, insulting sanctity of Iranian Muslims and publishing fake news in order to drive a wedge between the Iranian people and government.
In a statement on Wednesday, the IRGC urged all those linked to Amad News to turn themselves in before it gets too late for them, reported Iran press.
"Those who have not yet learned from the chain failures of the global arrogance against the Islamic Revolution, had better join the nation as soon as possible instead of serving foreign intelligence services," the IRGC statement read, adding that those who surrender themselves to the police will be granted clemency.
"Anyone connected to the dissident Amad News network and other people who have, for any reason, slipped up and cooperated with the enemy’s media and the ill-wishers of the nation and have yet to denounce them can contact the IRGC’s email and SMS services to express remorse and receive possible clemency", the statement added.
Zam was nabbed through a meticulous intelligence operation by the IRGC’s Intelligence Organization, which involved deceiving intelligence services of some Western countries especially France, which offered Zam guidance and protection for his operation. 215/207
