Middle East: According to an Iran Press report, the headquarters of the Baghdad Operations Command announced in a statement on Monday, that Iraqi security forces succeeded in identifying a terrorist, using intelligence and fieldwork, and killed him before he had the chance to strike.
The suicide bomber was equipped with a suicide belt and a suicide vest, and was planning to target Arbaeen pilgrims in the road from Baghdad to Samarra, according to the statement.
The operation headquarters in Baghdad adopted a series of security measures last week to ensure the safety and security of Arbaeen pilgrims.

According to the deputy governor of Iraq’s Karbala province, more than 15 million pilgrims have arrived to attend the mourning ceremonies of Arbaeen.
