Iran Press/ Iran news: Speaking at an international conference on martyred Lieutenant General Qassem Soleimani in Mashhad, titled "Geography of Resistance and Global Security", an Iraqi commander of Popular Mobilization Units described martyr Soleimani as Commander of World's Resistance Movement.
Speaking as one of the main speakers, Abu Al-Ahmad Jaber said for about 14 years he accompanied the top General, Soleimani, as a companion in battlefronts of resistance and since 2014 against Daesh Terrorists, describing him as the 'Commander of the World's Resistance Movement’.
The senior commander of Iraq's Popular Mobilization Units added: "Martyr Soleimani was the one who considered the Islamic cause as his top priority".
The Iraqi commander further explained that one of the most important characteristics of Martyr Soleimani was the fact that he was an obedient soldier for the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei.
The Iraqi commander stressed that Martyr Solemani was as brave as a lion when fighting in the battlefield, and he was a lion-hearted person but at the same time, he was very kind to his colleagues, and especially towards the families of martyrs. Abu Al-Ahmad Jaber also described Martyr Soleimani as a modest person who was not proud of the power he had and he was not a worldly-minded (materialistic) person.
In further remarks, the senior PMU commander described Martyr Soleimani as a thoughtful man who designed and performed regional liberation battles, so that he could foil US and Zionist plots in Syria, Yemen, Afghanistan Pakistan, and Iraq.
The top Iraqi commander also said Iraqi issues were on top of Martyr Soleimani' s agenda. He was also present on the frontlines and tried to boost the morale of his colleagues in the Islamic Resistance Movement. 212/211/101
