West Asia(IP)- The Islamic Resistance in Iraq says it has targeted two Israeli military sites, including the one in the occupied Syrian Golan Heights in response to the regime’s massacres of Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.

Iran Press/ West Asia: The resistance group in a statement posted on its social media page in the early hours of Monday said that it struck Israel’s Western Yarden barracks in the occupied Golan Heights using a drone.

Yonatan barracks and another military site located in the occupied Palestinian territories were also hit, the group revealed in later statements.

There were no immediate reports of casualties or damage from the attacks that came a day after the Islamic Resistance announced targeting an important and sensitive Israeli site with a drone in the port city of Eilat in the occupied territories.

The group says it will continue to target Israeli positions and interests in solidarity with Gazans, who have been under incessant Israeli attacks for more than six months.

In recent months, the Islamic resistance in Iraq has carried out a series of attacks against Israeli targets. It has also hit US military bases in Iraq and neighboring Syria in retaliation for Washington’s support for the Israeli genocide in Gaza.

At least 33,175 Palestinians have been killed and 75,886 wounded in Israeli attacks on Gaza since October 7.
