Iran Press/Iran news: In an exclusive interview with Iran Press on the significance of “Dey 9 Epic”, Abolfazl Amoui said that people's presence had foiled the plot. They renewed their commitment to the Islamic system, the country's structure, framework, and beliefs.
In 2009, people took to the streets to resounding response and challenged the 8-month unrests on baseless electoral fraud claims which impacted the country, Abolfazl Amoui noted.
“Dey 9 Epic” is a historic day in Iran's current history, Amoui noted.
"On this day, people from all walks of life are taking part in demonstrations across the country to foil plots which caused the country to be in the challenge for around 8 months and tangled people's livelihood and their working activities", underlined the lawmaker.
The spokesman of the Iranian Parliament's National Security and Foreign Policy Commission added: "Dey 9 Epic” has manifested itself perfectly in Tehran capital and cities all across Iran because it has proven Iranians statues in the political thoughts and their support of the Islamic Republic of Iran."
“Dey 9 Epic” is highly important and influential, and it is a great day, he highlighted.
December 30 every year, which coincides with the ninth day of Dey's Persian calendar month, is the reminder of the epic turnout of the Iranian nation to thwart enemies' plots.
