Moscow(IP) - The Iranian Vice President for Science, Technology, and Knowledge-Based Economy has traveled to Moscow, the capital of Russia, to meet with Russian science and technology officials.

 Iran PressEurope: The Iranian Vice President for Science, Technology, and Knowledge-Based Economy, Ruhullah Dehghani Firouzabadi arrived on Tuesday welcomed by Iran's Ambassador to Russia Kazem Jalali at Moscow's Sheremetyevo Airport.

Iran's Vice President noted that technological cooperation, nanotechnology and the aviation industry will be discussed and negotiated during the two-day trip to Russia.

The Vice President of Science, Technology and Knowledge-based Economy emphasized that due to the expansion of relations between Iran and Russia, opportunities for cooperation between Iranian and Russian companies have been developed and this trip will bring achievements for Iranian knowledge-based companies.

The Iranian VP stated that the Russian Science Foundation cooperates with the Iranian Science Foundation and the joint research program is being pursued during the trip to Russia.

The high-ranking Iranian official will meet with Andrei Fursenko, the senior assistant of the President of Russia for Science and Technology Affairs, on Tuesday evening. 219
