Tehran (IP) - In a message, the Speaker of Iran's Parliament congratulated the Speakers of Muslim countries' parliament on the occasion of Eid al-Adha on Thursday.

Iran Press/Iran News: Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf described Hajj as the symbol of Muslims' unity and said that the Muslim countries' parliaments, as the most important people-oriented entities, play significant role in the integration and unity of the Muslim world. 

Qalibaf pointed to the corona crisis and the impossibility of holding Hajj rituals and stressed focusing on unity and empathy with the aim of ensuring the health, security and prosperity of the great Muslim ummah as the most important duty.

Still, Qalibaf referred to the Israeli regime's exploitation of the crisis to annex the West Bank to the Palestinian territories it has occupied and put emphasis on the support of the Palestinian cause to pass through the critical era. 

The Speaker of Iran's Parliament announced the Iranian parliament's readiness to reinforce consultations and comprehensive cooperation with the Muslim countries.
