Moscow (IP) - The Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Moscow met with Russia's Deputy Foreign Minister for Asian Affairs and discussed a wide scope of bilateral cooperation areas.

Iran PressEurope: In their Friday meeting, Kazem Jalali and Igor Margolov talked about bilateral areas of cooperation including political, economic, commercial, cultural, nuclear, legal, consular, ceremonial, and coronavirus vaccine.

The two sides also reviewed the latest status of some important economic projects between the two countries and assessed the cooperation as expanding in this area.

Igor Margolov pointed to the recent trip of Iran's Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf and called important the message of the Leader of Islamic Revolution to Russia's President Vladimir Putin, conveyed by Ghalibaf. 

Kazem Jalali for his part appreciated the Russian side for facilitating Ghalibaf and his accompanying delegation's visit to Moscow and assessed the message of the Leader for the Russian president important for deepening the ties between the two countries. 

Iranian Ambassador to Moscow Kazem Jalali also met yesterday (Thursday) with Russian Deputy Foreign Minister and Putin's Special Envoy for the Middle East Mikhail Bogdanov to discuss the situation in the region, especially the developments in Yemen.
