Iran Press/ Iran news: In an exclusive interview with Iran Press on Tuesday, senior MP, Mehrdad Lahouti, a member of the parliament's planning, budget, and estimation commission referred to the recent United Nations general assembly meeting in New York, and emphasized that the United States found itself isolated at the UN, with few countries supporting it.

Lahouti added: "It was obvious in the UN general assembly, and also in the UN security council meeting chaired by Trump, that the vast majority of countries did not support the United States and did not agree with Trump.
The Iranian parliamentarian added: "The days when the United States could build a coalition against Iran are well and truly over. Even the Europeans don't go along with the US anymore!!"
