Abolfazl Hassan Beigi,a member of Iranian parliament commission on national security in an interview with Iran press said:
as you know, today at international arena, terrorism faces with two policies. First is related to UN treatment and second one belongs to US. As united nations dominated by US and Israel, unfortunately at past 2 or 3 decades, we have seen some member states of the UN dragged into US path.PLO or other groups fighting for their freedom are not part of terrorism.
In FATF (The Financial Action Task Force) (on Money Laundering), a common path is that any group should be condemned when it called terrorist by US. after 7 decades of conflict between Palestinians and Israelis, Americans believes victory achieved by Israelis today and it should be recognized. For this reason, president trump relocated US embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem al-Quds. So if we sign FATF, we will have to accept and uphold whatever Americans and Israelis want.
Asked about EU support for JCPOA, Hassan Beigi said: Europeans have been humiliated at international level after Trump came to the office. One of their motive for supporting JCPOA is to say the world and Americans that they are independent and they would not bear the burden of humiliation.
The second point is that EU feel US is isolated at the world stage and they think should not go to the same path of US.
The third point is that Europeans have paid heavy price in the past years because of Americans.
The last point is that Europeans have seen that Iran destroyed Daesh and thereby helped to security of Europe. ISIS that was created by US and sponsored by Saudi Arabia damaged Europe economy. So Europeans want to support JCPOA.
