Iran Press/ Asia: Addressing the gathering of poets and writers held in Khana Farhang Iran Rawalpindi regarding the expression of solidarity with the oppressed people of Palestine, Iran's ambassador to Pakistan, Reza Amiri Moghadam said: "Palestine is a global issue and the Al-Aqsa flood showed many countries that are trying to reach an agreement with Israel have failed. Gaza war proved to the whole world, especially the Islamic countries, that the Palestinian issue's only solution is a referendum and the participation of the real residents of Palestine is necessary and we believe that Israel will be demolished very soon."
Also, the head of Khana Farhang Iran Rawalpindi Farmarz Rehmanzad said that the world powers, including the US, are supporting the crimes of Israel.
He referred to the letter written by the Quaid-e-Azam (late founder of Pakistan) to then-US President Truman years ago and said that the Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah had predicted this long ago and the division of Palestine.
He thanked the poets and said that people from all walks of life have raised their voices on the issue of Palestine, including poets.
