Tehran (IP) - The Iranian artists gathered in Tehran, the capital of Iran, to create Nowruz artworks to welcome the occasion with the arrival of spring.

Iran PressIran News: As spring arrives, Iranian symbols and traditions tied to the ancient Nowruz are displayed across Iran and the Persian-culture countries around Iran. 

Since ancient times, Iranians have been celebrating the Nowruz occasion by displaying Iranian symbols and traditions, one of which is eggs colored to decorate Nowruz tables or 'Haftsin' tables.

Colored eggs are a symbol of the birth of life and the beginning of evolution; In the last days of the Persian year, Iranian artists gathered in Tehran and created beautiful works by painting Nowruz elements on chalk eggs.

The eggs are placed in the main streets and squares of Tehran, besides other symbols of Nowruz, such as the Haftsin table, Hafez's poems, Nowruz prayers, and green nature, to give the capital of Iran the mood of Nowruz mood.

Nowruz celebration was registered as a cultural heritage by UNESCO.
