Iran Press/Iran news: In a telephone conversation on Wednesday, Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif and Walid al-Mouallem also exchanged views about the results of a recent historic visit by Syrian President Bashar al-Assad to Tehran.
On Feb. 25, Assad paid an unannounced visit to Iran and met with Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei in Tehran.
Speaking at the meeting, Leader of Islamic Revolution said that the Islamic Republic is honored to support Syria and considers it as equal to supporting the entire resistance front.
For his part, Syrian President Bashar al-Assad said that the US's attempts to divide Syria will remain unsuccessful. 101/211/201
