Tehran (IP) - The Ministry of Foreign Affairs spokesman, Nasser Kanaani, vehemently criticized the Canadian government's recent decision to impose sanctions on the CEO of Tehran Metro and a female representative in the Iranian parliament.

Iran PressIran News: Kanaani labeled the move as politically motivated and part of Canada's ongoing selective stance on Iran's human rights issues.

Furthermore, Kanaani suggested that if Canadian authorities are genuinely concerned about women's rights globally, they should address their own public opinion and acknowledge the world's criticism of their silence on the genocide and brutal killings of Palestinians.

He urged Canada to cease its support for the criminal Zionist regime.
