Tehran (IP) - The Commander of Iran's Joint Air Defense Headquarters says the country's sky is safe and secure for all planes passing its air route according to international standards.

Iran PressIran news: Visiting one of the country's air defense bases on Tuesday, Brigadier General Ghader Rahimzadeh emphasized the development of the air defense control systems all across the country and the careful observation of Iran’s sky.

General Rahimzadeh said Iran’s air defense systems were equipped according to the latest technologies while the staff was being trained non-stop.

He went on to say that through the efforts, human mistakes were decreased to a minimum in Iran’s air defense system.

The commander pointed to two responsibilities that the staff must burden: First, the full observation of Iran’s sky; and second, creating a safe and secure sky according to international standards for all planes.

The Commander of Iran's Joint Air Defense Headquarters then pointed to the presidential election calling for people's participation as one of the national power factors.
