The relations between the Islamic Republic of Iran and Syria are among the relations in the West Asian region, which are considered strategic, and the two parties have serious determination to expand  relations in various fields.

During his stay in Damascus, the Iranian President will meet with his Syrian counterpart Bashar al-Assad and discuss the strengthening of strategic cooperation between the two countries, especially on economic issues.
