Iran Press/ Iran news: In a meeting with Bahram Einollahi, Iran's Health Minister, and a group of researchers and scientists of Razi Vaccine and Serum Research Institute, Iran's Minister of Agriculture Jihad Javad Sadati Nejad said that 40 million doses of Cov-Pars vaccine will be produced by the end of this year and 100 million doses by September 2022.
Javad Sadatinejad added that the production of vaccines in the country by the Razi Institute prevented the outflow of foreign currency to a large extent.
Emphasizing that the Razi Institute is unique in terms of food and medicine security, he said that the group did not wait for the support of other organizations in the coronavirus crisis based on its mission and tried to produce the vaccine independently.
The Minister of Agriculture thanked the researchers and scientists of Razi Institute and asked the Ministry of Health to support this institute more than before.
He also asked the Minister of Health to support the Razi Institute in accelerating the production of this vaccine and its export to other countries.
