Iran Press/Iran news: Iranian foreign ministry spokesman Abbas Mousavi said the Iranian and German foreign ministers had a good talk on mutual, long-standing and friendly relations.
Mousavi said: "The two ministers exchanged in-depth views on mutual, long-lasting and friendly relations and also discussed the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), and reducing tensions in the region," Iran Press reported.
"Europe and Germany can come up with practical initiatives to preserve the JCPOA and strengthen peace and stability in the region despite of the US' sabotage," Mousavi said.
Germany foreign minister, Heiko Maas arrived in Tehran on Monday to meet with senior Iranian officials.
