Baghdad (IP) - The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, met with the Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates, Mohammad bin Rashid, on the sidelines of the Baghdad summit on Iraq's security.

The two sides stressed the need to strengthen cooperation and expand relations between neighbors.

At the end of the meeting, UAE Prime Minister Mohammad bin Rashid tweeted: "On the sidelines of the Baghdad summit, I met with the new Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian. In his new post, I wish him success, the expansion of relations with neighboring countries, and the strengthening of cooperation based on the wisdom and benefit of the two nations. I also wish the best for the neighboring and friendly nation of Iran."
