Iran Press/ Iran news: The senior advisor to the Iranian foreign minister, Ali Asghar Khaji held a meeting with the UN Special Envoy for Yemen, Hans Grundberg emphasized the need to resolve the crisis in Yemen through peaceful and political methods.
While pointing out the regional and global importance of the developments in Gaza, Khaji emphasized the need for an immediate ceasefire, lifting the siege and the delivery of humanitarian aid.
Khaji said: "The US has asked us to remain restrained in several messages, While they are not self-controlled and in addition to financial, military, and political support, they have practically taken over the management of the killing of the defenseless people of Palestine."
The senior adviser to Iran's Foreign Minister on special political affairs also added that all efforts should be made to resolve the crisis in Yemen through political means, and the Islamic Republic of Iran is ready to use all its power to achieve this goal."
He assessed the humanitarian situation in Yemen as worrying and stated that the humanitarian aid to Yemen has decreased due to the impact of other crises and this has worsened the situation. 219
