Iran Press/Asia: According to Iran Press, the 12th edition of the Pakistan International Defense Exhibition, known as IDEAS 2024, commenced today in Karachi. For the first time, Iran has established its own exclusive pavilion, highlighting its advancements in defense production and fostering international recognition.
The Pakistan Ministry of Defense announced that the event will feature over 330 exhibitors from 55 countries. The exhibition, set to be officially inaugurated shortly by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, aims to provide a platform for effective networking between foreign delegations, government officials, and defense industry stakeholders.
Showcasing a wide range of advanced defense technologies, the exhibition includes weaponry, tanks, fighter jets, helicopters, military ships, submarines, and sophisticated drone systems.
