Iran Press/ Iran news: Rear Admiral Sayyari said that the Army will make the most of the country's scientific potential in training human resources and producing intelligent weapons and ammunition.
Speaking at the signing ceremony a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Islamic Republic of Iran's Army and the Center for Scientific Policy Research of the country on Sunday, Sayyari said: "We have several projects in the army to produce and operate own equipment to enhance the country's defense, and we have had great success since the beginning of the Islamic Revolution."
Deputy commander of Iran's Army for Coordination continued: "Today we claim to stand on our own capabilities in the construction of ground, air and sea equipment."
He said: "Now if we make more use of the academic capacity of universities, we will certainly move those projects faster; the more science and knowledge available at our universities, the more up-to-date, appropriate equipment will be."
