Iran Press/Iran news: The Commander of Iran’s Army, Major General Seyed Abdolrahim Mousavi said "With the cooperation between Iran's army and Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), we have been able to maintain the security of the region."
He made the remarks on Saturday in the southern port city of Bandar Abbas in a ceremony held to officially commission the Sahand Destroyer into the Iranian naval fleet, Iran Press reported.

The cooperation between naval forces of Army and Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has entered a new season, he said, adding, “It is this will and spirit which has made us guardians of security in the Persian Gulf, Strait of Hormoz, and the Gulf of Oman.”
"The hegemonic powers, headed by the United States and Israeli regime, keep destabilizing this region, because this suits their interests, and this is why the Islamic Republic of Iran has been wrestling with them for 40 years," he maintained.

The world will see the collapse of these arrogant powers soon, Mousavi highlighted.
He went on to say that in times of Pahlavi regime, Iranian Navy was totally dependent on foreign forces but after the Islamic revolution, the Army unlocked its great potentials and brought many honors for the country.
Home-made destroyer, Sahand joined the Iranian naval fleet on Saturday morning in a ceremony held at Bandar Abbas with the top commander of the Iranian Army, Major General Abdolrahim Mousavi and top Navy commander, Rear Admiral Hossein Khanzadi in attendance.
