Isfahan(IP): Mohammad Eslami, the head of Iran’s Atomic Energy Organization, and Rafael Grossi, the director general of the International Atomic Energy Agency, started intensive negotiations a few minutes ago in Isfahan.

Iran PressIran news: After the negotiations, Mohammad Eslami, the head of Iran’s Atomic Energy Organization and Rafael Grossi, the director general of the International Atomic Energy Agency will attend a joint press conference and answer journalists’ questions.

The conference is organized by the Nuclear Science and Technology Research Institute of Iran (NSTRI) and is one of the leading international conferences to present new and fundamental nuclear developments in Iran.

Iran's Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, in a meeting with the Head of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Rafael Grossi, said that the IAEA chief's visit to Iran comes at a crucial time, given the complicated and sensitive situation in the region.

The Iranian foreign minister emphasized the importance of the IAEA's position and role and praised Grossi's "impartial and professional" leadership.

Amir-Abdollahian also discussed the recent actions taken by the Iranian armed forces against the "aggressor Zionist regime," stating that the inaction of the United Nations Security Council left Iran with no choice but to exercise its legitimate defense based on international law.
