The 11th batch of Russian Sputnik V Coronavirus vaccines, comprising 300,000 doses, was delivered to the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Moscow and will be forwarded to Tehran on Thursday.

Iran PressAsia: The embassy has announced that this 11th batch comprising 200,000 doses of component two and 100,000 doses of component one vaccines.

Russia has thus far delivered 1,300,000 doses of Sputnik Vaccines to Iran.

The Russian Direct Investments Fund (RDIF) announced on Wednesday that another type of Russian corona vaccine, titled Sputnik Light has been registered in Iran.

According to the RDIF, the objective of producing Sputnik Light has been accelerating the vaccination process and decreasing it from two, or three injections into just one injection and immunizing the society much faster.
