Iran Press/ Iran news: Delivering a speech in the fourth meeting of the ECO energy ministers, Reza Ardakanian stated the programs for the development of energy exchange with the countries of the region were on the agenda of the Ministry of Energy so that the country's geopolitical capacity was maximally used in global energy markets.
Ardakanian said the ECO region enjoyed the rich and valuable potential of human and natural resources, energy reserves, capable private sector, and privileged advantages of regional connectivity.
"Iran proposes that ECO establish a regional energy corridor to promote regional cooperation, exchange knowledge and experience, and use the capacity of the member states; because these countries have almost the same conditions in terms of the geographical, political and economic situation," the Iranian minister added.
