Tehran (IP) - In a meeting with the Turkish ambassador to Tehran, the head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) said considering Iran's experiences in constructing and maintaining nuclear power plants, Iran is ready to cooperate with Türkiye in training atomic experts.

Iran PressIran News: Turkish ambassador to Iran, Hijabi Kerlangic, met with, Mohammad Eslami, the head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) on Monday.

Eslami said: "Enemies seek to damage Iran-Türkiye relations; however, with vigilance and cooperation, we have been able to have cordial relations, and we should expand the level of relations and deepen them in various sectors by developing cooperation."

The head of AEOI also said: "Considering the previous experiences of the two countries, we expect to see renewed cooperation in the field of exporting Iranian radiopharmaceuticals to Türkiye."

Eslami mentioned that Iran has significant experiences in building and maintaining nuclear power plants, and is willing to collaborate with Turkey in training experts in this field. Iranian companies can also share their expertise with Turkey in operating, maintaining, and repairing these power plants.

The head of AEOI stated: "In recent years, the enemies have created a lot of obstacles for the nuclear industry and the people of Iran. The imposed sanctions serve as an example of this, even though every nation has the right to use nuclear energy peacefully according to global rules and regulations. Iran follows international standards while conducting its peaceful nuclear activities."

In this meeting, the Turkish ambassador to Iran also said the unilateral sanctions against Iran and some countries are "detrimental to the international community and the people of the region."
