Iran Press/ Iran news: Speaking on the sidelines of the joint air defense drills of "Defenders of Velayat Sky 2021," Major General Hossein Salami noted that Iran had significant achievements in air defense against advanced air forces.
He added: "Annually, we practice this joint air defense drills against enemies' different threat scenarios."
Major General Salami said: "The IRGC Air Force and the Army Air Defense have produced very modern and advanced systems in technology, command, and control of global information communications, so that the targets are automatically transferred to the systems by the softwares and they hit the targets very precisely when needed."
Referring to the message of holding the drills, he said: "Our constant message is unity. A unity that is rooted in the alliance of the army and the IRGC."
The joint specialized air defense drills of the Defenders of Velayat Sky 2021 kicked off on Tuesday morning in central desert areas of Iran and ended on Wednesday.
