Islamabad (IP) - During the official visit of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Pakistan, the two countries signed three cooperation documents and memorandums of understanding.

Iran PressAsia: The signing ceremony of the cooperation memorandum was held in the presence of Hossein Amirabdollahian and Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, the foreign ministers of Iran and Pakistan, at the end of their official talks in Islamabad.

Senior officials of Pakistan, including the ministers of commerce and economic affairs of this country, also attended the ceremony.

The officials of Iran and Pakistan signed the documents and memoranda of understanding related to the 5-year extension of the strategic trade cooperation program, the summary of the third meeting of the joint investment committee, the third meeting of the joint banking committee and cooperation in the economic field.

On the second day of his official visit to Islamabad, Iran's Foreign Minister is scheduled to meet with the Prime Minister of Pakistan, the presidents of the National Assembly and the Senate, as well as the army commander of this country.
