Iran may extend cooperation with IAEA inspectors: Deputy FM

Vienna (IP) - Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister said that his country might consider extending cooperation with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) over inspections of its nuclear sites.

Iran PressEurope: Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi in an interview with NHK correspondent in Vienna on Friday said: "Iran has indicated that it is set to end its cooperation with the IAEA over nuclear inspections if no progress is made in the talks on the removal of US sanctions and other issues by late May."

Araghchi added: "Iran hopes enough progress will be made so that there will be no need for an extension. But if needed, Iran will consider an extension at a proper time."
