Iran Press/ Asia: MME company designed, built, and launched the first sponge iron plant in China.
China, which ranks first in the world in steel production, mainly produces this high-consumption product by Blast Furnace Process, but now to overcome environmental challenges and use Iranian technical and engineering capabilities, it is turning to steel production by using PERED technology.
The contract for the construction of the plant has been signed between CSTM Company of China and MME Company of Iran as the owner of PERED technology. 219
