Volunteer rescue forces and various government groups in the Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari Province, southwestern Iran, are controlling the fire which has been burning oak forests in the area.

Iran Press/Iran News: About 100 hectares of oak forests have been burnt in the fires of Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari Province, southwestern Iran, so far.

The fire in the oak forests of Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari province started last Monday and it still continues.

Volunteer rescue forces and various government groups in the province are controlling the fire.

Imprudence, heat, and wind at the same time are the main causes of recent fires in Iran's forests, including oak forests in Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari Province.
