Iran Press/ Iran News: Abdi added on Friday morning: "After the explosion of this gas tank, our colleagues are stationed at the scene and are investigating the matter more closely."
He added: "The fire from the blast was also controlled and contained by firefighters."
Second Brigadier General Abdi said: "Additional information about this explosion will be announced by the relevant authorities."
Early in this morning, a video was released in cyberspace from the east of Tehran, in which a strange bright orange light with a terrible sound lit up the sky like the sunset.
