The chief of Iran's Khatam al-Anbiya Construction Headquarters said that the solution to the country's economic problems must not be pursued in the West.

Iran Press/Iran News: Delivering a speech before Tehran's Friday Prayer sermons, Saeed Mohammad stated that the 'resistance economy' proposed by the Leader of Islamic Revolution, Seyyed Ali Khamenei is the remedy of the current difficulties of Iran's economy, Iran Press reported.

"َObserving military might of Iran's Armed forces and IRGC in particular, the US-led arrogant powers are no longer talking about military confrontation and helplessly moved their plotting center from the Pentagon to the Treasury Department to put cowardly and unfair economic pressure of Iranian people to create a crisis in their livelihood and force them to clash with the Islamic System," Mohammad said, adding that "But the enemies are ignorantly unaware that despite all grievances of mismanagements and all concerns, Iranian people are loyal to their Leader and when it comes to security of their country and revolution, they separated themselves from rioters and foiled the enemy's complicated conspiracies."

He referred to the petroleum industry of the country and said that there are yet for the country to improve in oil, gas, mining, and agriculture areas.

Employing passionate, expert, and revolutionary young forces, and cooperating with private and governmental sections, Khatam al-Anbiya Construction Headquarters has significant contributions in the development of the country's infrastructures as well as its independence from foreign companies, Mohammad explained, as he stressed on the headquarters' self-sufficiency in technical and engineering areas.

The chief of the construction headquarters referred to the self-sufficiency in producing gas-oil and gasoline noting that with the establishment of Setareh Khalij Fars (Persian Gulf Star) Refinery in Bandar Abbas, southern Iran, the county became self-sufficient in producing gas-oil and gasoline.

The development of optical fiber network, signaling station and capabilities in ship construction as well as the development of ports and airports in the country were other areas of the self-sufficiency of the headquarters as its chief said.

"Khatam al-Anbiya construction headquarters does not seek profit, considering itself a servant of the people, especially the poor, and a guardian of the Islamic Revolution which plays its role wherever the Islamic Republic of Iran is threatened in technical and engineering areas" he noted. 212/ 104
