Iran's Foreign Minister Deputy Majid Takht Ravanchi, who arrived in New Delhi yesterday morning, held talks with the Indian Foreign Minister S. Jaishankar. After the meeting, the Indian Foreign Minister wrote on his personal page about the meeting with Takht Ravanchi, noting, "Bilateral relations, progress in Chabahar Port, and regional developments were discussed and reviewed. We are confident that the Foreign Ministry's consultations will accelerate the two sides's partnership."
During his two-day visit to New Delhi, the Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister for Political Affairs meets with the Indian Foreign Minister and his Indian counterpart in addition to answering questions from reporters from major Indian media outlets in a press conference.
Takht-Ravanchi will also attend and deliver speeches at two prominent Indian think tanks during his two-day stay in India.
