Iran Press/Iran news: The Director General of Hormozgan Ports and Maritime Organization (PMO) Allah Morad Afifipour said on Sunday that a1300-ton cargo ferry made of Fiberglass has been made in Iran's Southern Qeshm Island and it has been exported as well, reported Iran Press.
Iran's PMO official explained further that the biggest Fiberglass cargo ferry was made on the order of a foreign investor and it was handed to the owner.
1300-ton cargo ferry has been designed and made in almost a year (360 days).
The Iranian-made Fiberglass cargo ferry can be used for transportation of all 1300 tons of goods by the sea
The overall cost of the ferry have been announced as 2,700,000 Dirhams. It is also equipped with two engines with 2500 hp. The ferry is also 55 meters long and 16 meters wide.
