Iran Press/Africa: Commenting on Iran’s stances regarding Sudanese developments, Bahram Ghassemi said that the principled policy of the Islamic Republic is non-interference in other countries’ affairs, as recent developments in Sudan are internal affairs of the country.
Iran has always favored establishment of stability and security in Muslim countries, he said, hoping the peace and calm will restore to the country soon, Iran Press reported.
On Thursday, Sudanese army in a statement confirmed Omar al-Bashir’s resignation after 30 years in office and declared a three-month state of emergency in the northern African country. 101/202
