Iran Press/ Iran news: The female students competed in the final three rounds, which ended with two silver and bronze medals for Safoura Ghaneh and Tannaz Azali and the runner-up of the Iranian team.
In the individual competition held with 41 female students from 12 countries, Iranian chess players defeated their opponents in the seventh and eighth rounds, getting closer to the Indian team as a first-place holder.
The Indian team became the champion with 25.5 points, Iran became the runner-up with 25 points, Malaysia became third with 21, and the teams of Indonesia, the UAE, and China took the fourth to sixth.
The Iranian team won third place in the first round of this competition in 2020.
The boys' competition will start on Thursday, September 9, hosted by Indonesia.
