Iran Press/ Asia: Mirwais Nab, the Afghan Deputy Foreign Minister, praised Iran's cooperation in strengthening the regional consensus to support the Afghan peace process.
Referring to the recent developments in the Afghan peace process and the withdrawal of foreign troops from the country, Nab explained the beginning of a new chapter in security, political, and development cooperation between Afghanistan and the international community and called for expanding bilateral cooperation between Afghanistan and Iran.
Bahador Aminian, the Ambassador of the Republic of Iran, reaffirmed Iran's commitment to continue comprehensive cooperation with Afghanistan, especially for the success of peace talks, the preservation of the constitution, and the achievements of the past two decades with Afghanistan.
Both sides discussed the strengthening of bilateral cooperation, particularly the holding of a meeting of the Joint Economic Committee and the implementation of development projects to raise the level of trade and strengthen political, cultural, and economic cooperation between the two countries.
