Iran Press/ Asia: As the Deputy Prime Minister of Azerbaijan Republic, Shahin Mustafayev said that the amount of exchanges between the country and Iran has had an 11-percent increase in 2019, reaching $500 million.
It is while Iran and the Azerbaijan Republic enjoy more potentials to expand the amount of trade.
Due to the good relations between the two countries, as well as the geographical location of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the country is the gateway to Iranian goods to the regional countries, especially Russia.
With over 750 kilometers of the joint border and 4 official border ports and, more importantly, numerous cultural and spiritual commonalities with Iran, the Republic of Azerbaijan is considered a good ground for economic development for the two countries. 207
