Tehran (IP): The foreign ministers of Iran and Turkey emphasized the need to continue and develop diplomatic consultations and efforts in the regional and international arena to put pressure on the Zionist regime to accept a ceasefire and stop the war in Gaza.

Iran Press/ West Asia: According to Iran press, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian and Hakan Fidan, the foreign ministers of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Republic of Turkey, exchanged views on some issues on the agenda of bilateral and regional relations, especially the continuation of Zionist crimes against the Palestinian people in Gaza and the West Bank, in a telephone conversation on Monday night.

In this call, Amir-Abdollahian emphasized the importance of deepening and further developing bilateral relations between Iran and Turkey, as well as the importance of the upcoming meeting between the presidents of the two countries.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran considered the full-fledged support of the United States to the Zionist regime as the reason for the continued crimes of the Zionists against the residents of Gaza and the West Bank of Palestine, and stressed the need to make maximum efforts to stop these crimes and stop the genocide in the Gaza Strip through initiatives and efforts.

He emphasized diplomatic measures as well as providing immediate relief to the Palestinians and alleviating their sufferings.

Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, referring to the holding of the 8th high-level meeting between Iran and Turkey in the near future and appreciating the diplomatic efforts of Iran in order to establish a ceasefire in the war against Gaza, considered Palestine as the central issue of the Islamic world.204
