Iran Press/ Iran News: Iran's Minister of Foreign Affairs Mohammad Javad Zarif also stressed that Iran's collaboration with the IAEA is based on the 'principle of transparency'.
Speaking on the sideline of the official inauguration of the consular service desk on Monday, Zarif referred to IAEA director-General's visit, saying: "The visit has nothing to do with 'snapback mechanism'. Zarif described the term (snapback mechanism) as a misnomer, saying that the term was created by Americans.
Zarif went on to say: "As 13 countries at the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) failed to give support to the US arms embargo against Iran, they also are on this belief that the US has no right to enter into this issue."

He added: "There are two issues; Once, they say that your argument is wrong, but at another time, they say that you do not have the right to enter this room to make this argument. Everyone tells the US we will 'not let you into this room', not that you entered this room and your words were wrong."
Referring to the use of chemical weapons against Iran during the holy defense, Zarif said: "As in the past, we have been victims of chemical weapons, but we have never used chemical weapons. Iran has always been ready to cooperate with the IAEA." 104/207
