Khuzestan (IP) - Heavy rainfall and record flash floods submerged parts of Khuzestan province in southwestern Iran.

Iran Press/Iran news: The cities of Andimeshk, Dezful, Shoosh, Shooshtar, Ahvaz, Mahshahr, Hendijan, Bandar Imam Khomeini, Shadegan, Abadan, Khorramshahr, Minoo Island, and Arvand Kenar were flooded on Monday in the wake of unexpected heavy rainfall.

In Arvand Kenar, residential neighborhoods and homes were flooded in some parts of the city, Iran Press reported.

In Andimeshk, three villages were evacuated as flash floods caused concern for local residents. 103/211/213
