Iran Press/Middle East: The politburo chief of Islamic Hamas movement Ismail Haniyeh, stressed on Tuesday that Palestine is neither for sale nor for deals at conferences which mull consecrating occupation, reported Iran Press.
During the national Palestinian conference held in Gaza in face of the ‘Deal of the Century’, Haniyeh stressed that Bahrain conference encourages the Zionist enemy to control completely the West Bank and promotes the so-called normalization of ties between some Arab regimes and ‘Israel’.
Haniyeh also expressed readiness to meet with President Mahmoud Abas in order to sustain the national unity, confirming that the Palestinians are able to frustrate the ‘Deal of the Century’ just as they have done in face of the other schemes.
Haniyeh's remarks came amid the massive protests and strikes of thousands of Palestinians on Tuesday against the US-led economic conference scheduled to begin in Bahrain on the same day.
The protests, organized by the Palestinians, are expected to last for three days. Palestinians gathered in the center of Ramallah chanting slogans against the Zionist regime and the US, reported Iran press.

On the same day, Senior advisor to the president of the United States Jared Kushner unveiled the vicious US-led plan of the 'Deal of a Century', a measure which will be considered satisfying and pleasing for the Zionist regime.
However, Speaking to the participant of the event, Trump's son in law claimed that America has 'not given up on the Palestinians.
ّFurthermore, Hamas and other Palestinian factions have called for a general strike in the Gaza Strip on Tuesday, urging Palestinians to demonstrate in front of the United Nations headquarters in Gaza City. As a result, a general strike started on Tuesday morning in the besieged Gaza Strip in rejection of the Bahrain conference, which deals with the economic portion of the US deal of the century.
Accordingly, Palestinian citizens stopped going to their workplaces, closed businesses. Public transportation also came to a halt, and most of the public and private institutions, including universities, banks, and courts, were shut for the day.104/203
