Iran Press/ Iran news: In his speech, Iran’s Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghaliba, referring to the enthusiastic participation of the people in the elections, stated: "I appreciate all my compatriots and all those involved in the 12th term of the Parliament’s election. Also, I express my gratitude toward the organizers, especially the security and military forces, who provided security for the elections throughout the country."
He emphasized: "The glorious elections were held while various sanctions were imposed on Iran, but despite the various enemies’ plots, Iranians did their responsibilities with full awareness."
He expressed his hope that the people will complete their role and duty by participating in the second phase of the Parliament’s elections in the declared constituencies. 219
