Tehran (IP) - Iran’s parliament speaker said: "To solve the country's problems, one cannot be blamed, but it is necessary to interact and understand each other."

Iran PressIran news: Speaking at the transportation and economic development conference in Tehran on the occasion of transportation day, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, added: "Our elites must think of a solution because many issues and problems are national and cannot be ignored."

Qalibaf emphasized: "There is no work that cannot be done, but there is no will or enough and right to do that work." Ghalibaf pointed out that several billion dollars of capital leave the country every year and said: "We must reach 8% growth and reduce inflation."

He emphasized that the total cost of transportation in Iran is more than twice that of neighboring countries, adding: "We waste 3.5 million barrels of oil per day, which is more than 100 billion dollars a year. While we face sanctions, this amount will greatly contribute to economic growth."

He clarified: "National and personal interest should be tied together, we should not waste the country’s finance and human resources."

Referring to the necessity of a detailed and operational plan, he added: "People can also help in solving our problems. Today, transportation is an independent issue, not dependent, and transportation creates great opportunities for the country.
