Iran Press/Iran news: Iran's Friday Prayer interim leader, Hojjatoleslam Kazem Seddighi referred to the Kashmiri crisis as the catastrophe of Islam's world, advising the Indian government to rethink about its policies against Kashmir.
On August 6, 2019, India scrapped Article 370 initiating the bifurcation of Jammu and Kashmir into two Union territories that has a dramatic impact on the two neighbors, Iran Press reported.
Muslims in Kashmir faced trouble performing the Eid al-Adha prayers on Monday amid intense restrictions and growing tension caused by the Indian government's scrapping the region's special status, reported Iran Press.
Human Rights champions silent over Zakaki case
Kazem Seddighi also referred to the Nigerian Islamic Movement Leader, Sheikh Ibrahim Zakzaki's deteriorating health condition and criticized the silence of Human Rights champions on the issue.
"Sheikh Zakzaki was hospitalized in India but was not permitted to receive treatment, an act incompatible with human rights" he added.
Sheikh Ibrahim Zakzaki and his wife left for India on Monday for treatment.
Sheikh Zakzaki and his wife were arrested on December 13, 2015, in a Nigerian military attack on a Husseiniyah in Zaria. Hundreds of Nigerian Shiites were also killed in the attack.
In recent months, as Zakaki's health has deteriorated, human rights organizations have repeatedly called for the release of Nigeria's Shiite leader.
Iran's Defense Industry advance owes to Islamic Revolution and its Leader
The Friday Prayer leader also pointed out to the anniversary of Iran's Defense Industries on August 22 and noted that the country's defense power significantly increased.
"Iran's Defense Industry power is one of the miracles of Islamic Revolution and its Leader. We have made a leap in defense area and could have gone through overnight," he remarked.
Hojjatoleslam Kazem Seddighi flashed back to the US spy drone downed by IRGC Aerospace Force saying that the missile which hit the US spy UAV was made in Iran.
Divisive plots to fail, Yemeni people to win
The prayer leader elsewhere in his speech referred to the Saudi-led coalition aggression to Yemen and said that the plots to divide the country will do fail.
He praised Yemenis' resistance against the aggressive Saudi regime and its allies and stressed that these are the Yemeni people who will win over.
Backed by the US, the United Arab Emirates, and several other countries, Saudi Arabia, has launched a military invasion of Yemen in March 2015, massacring more than 16,000 Yemenis, wounding tens of thousands, and displacing millions.
Nonetheless, the Saudi regime and its allies have so far failed to achieve their goals in this country because of the resistance of the Yemeni people. 104/215
